I'm a single dad, a journalism professor, and a writer. My students call me Dr. Rob, but you can call me Rob. I blog about writing and having fun. I hope my blog makes you laugh or stop and think. If so, please let me know. If not, I hope you tell me too. I know I can't please everybody, but everyone's feedback is really important to me.

My writing and grammar posts are meant to be informative and entertaining. Many of my grammar posts have short quizzes embedded in them as well. For comic relief I try to posts silly signs and funny news, amazing pictures, random facts, and cool video. I try to post often.

My PhD is in Higher Education Administration, and my MA is in Mass Communications. In the last three years, I've been fortunate enough to receive the following recognitions from my university: Young Faculty Scholar, Distinguished Faculty of the Year, and a Teaching Endowment.

I hope you will visit Rob's Megaphone and consider joining my neighborhood. Also give me a shout. I love to shout back.

You are all invited to check out our Grammar Group: http://www.blogcatalog.com/group/the-grammar-group. This group is for everyone from grammar teachers to writers to folks struggling with learning English.
Peace!
