My interests include: Investing, Traveling, Herb Gardens, Hammered Dulcimer, and Vegetarian Cooking. I'm also interested in anti-aging research.
I most enjoy outdoor sports, including tennis, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, and ice skating. I also love hot air ballooning.
I was an English major undergrad, with an emphasis in poetry. My favorite poet is W.S. Merwin. My favorite book of poetry is The Lice by Merwin. However, I also adore many of the Spanish writers, such as Neruda and Vallejo, and the mystic Sufi poets, such as Kabir. Other American poets I love include Dickinson, Whitman, W C Williams, Robert Bly, and Mark Strand.
My favorite movies are What Dreams May Come, King of Hearts, Children of Paradise, King Kong (first one), Casablanca, Titanic, the Producers, Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles. I love all W.C. Fields movies (It's a Gift), Keaton movies (Buster, not Diane), esp the General, and most Chaplin movies (Modern Times).
My favorite music is rock and classical (adore Glenn Gould), altho my musical interests are eclectic. I love bluegrass also.
My favorite book right now is John Adams by David McCullough. My favorite young poet is Vera Pavlova.
