I moved to Italy and everything changed. I knew I could never eat as before again. I was amazed by the variety and the quality of foods, the stories behind every cookie, pasta and jar of honey. I wanted to become a part of that world, not only eating, but creating. So I joined a small biodynamic Tuscan winery and from there I set out to create The Scrumptious Pantry, a product line of handmade goodies from small artisan producers. This blog is to share not only stories from Italy's culinary heartlands, but to create a forum to discuss Real Food from Real People.
