My name is C. Steven Tucker, President of Small Business Insurance Services, Inc.

I have been a multi-state licensed Independent insurance broker since 1995. In 1999, I officially incorporated my business which provides affordable insurance products to the small business and self-employed community.

Besides holding multiple state Insurance Licenses I also serve as a health insurance subject matter expert for the Wall Street Journal, Fortune Business Magazine, Real Estate Executive Magazine, DHL Worldwide, The Nashville Business Journal and other business journals around the country.

Today, the internet provides consumers the ability to access great sources of information regarding health insurance however, with so much information it becomes even more difficult for the consumer to base their health insurance purchase on what is best for their particular situation. This is one of the reasons I felt compelled to start posting on this topic. As a business owner, myself, I believe I can offer some valuable insight into what consumers need to know about health insurance to make informed purchasing decisions.
