thebookgourmet thebookgourmet's profile Clarisa Brown / 40, Female / Member since November 2009 / Last seen 11 days ago

Clarisa Brown has dual residence in the United States and Europe. A bookworm from earliest childhood, the author specialized in English Literature and Creative Writing at University but was then diverted into a lucrative career in Marketing and Public Relations which lasted nearly two dizzying decades. During that time, she traveled the world, always accompanied by a good book.

Upon reaching forty, she found herself with a sour taste for her career and decided to return to her life's passion of writing full time. Clarisa Brown has a number of Blogs covering her interests in Humor, Travel, Food, Books, Media and The Quest for Meaning in Life. (Philosophy was also an integral part of her studies and her style.) Predictably, she is also working on a series of novels, but that is another matter altogether.

When she isn't writing, Clarisa Brown still travels and eats out regularly, and she can never go to sleep without reading a few chapters of something Yummy. What some girls feel for chocolate, she feels for a good book. (And she loves fine chocolate too, of course).
