Hello. My name is Julie and I have Obsessive Compulsive Music Disorder (OCMD).
Okay, so it’s not a clinical affliction. But it should be; it’s a real problem for me. I collect, hoard and obsess over new music all the time. Mostly, I’m indie rock girl, but I have been known to occasionally dabble in a little electronica.
In addition to seeking new music, I also love finding new devices and technology that helps me both automate and fuel my OCMD state of mind. I’m fascinated by how technology is transforming the music industry. Everything is changing and there’s never been a better time to be a music fan.
The OCMD gives you really good music recommendations and music technology reviews. I gather a lot of information on this subject, listen to a ridiculous amount of albums and play with far too many gadgets. What this site will provide for you is a filter into the best of the best (in my opinion, of course). I weed through all the riff raff for you so you don’t have to!
