I absolutely love tableware - - - crystal, china, porcelain, silver, stainless steel, earthenware. Nothing gets my creative juices flowing more than setting a table, planning and hosting – or attending a party, whether it be a swank reception or a casual get-together with a few good friends. Perhaps I inherited this great love of celebration from my great grandmother Sarah, for whom I named my blog after. A quintessential hostess and an early pioneer in the formation of Bed & Breakfast Inns. Mrs. Sarah made everyone who entered her home feel like the most special person on earth. I strive to reflect that same spirit every time I open my doors and invite people to my table.
