Hi Theresa, Finally made it over to your blog after all this time. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing so many insights into yourself and all the great recipes. Your blog is really interesting and touches on some many subjects - really quite a bit of food for thought!

Hi Theresa, Yes, this is the same type of dog as Mother Theresa in "Must Love Dogs." In fact, there were two Newfies used while shooting that movie and they were only about 8 months old which means they weren't even full grown. I believe it was the director who actually adopted the dogs after shooting because he just fell in love with them. We have two cats and they don't get along too well with the dog. She's still got too much energy for them. But they have their own space and, in general cat fashion, don't seem to care much whether we are around or not - as long as we feed them and care for them :) Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Danni, So glad you enjoyed the blog! Our property is about 1000 sq meters (about 10,000 sq ft). The garden in the back is 1000 sq ft on its own and then a big portion of the property is taken up by the buildings around it. We would love to have some chickens at some stage, but don't really want to have them here. The previous owner had them as well as other types of birds, pigs, horses, goats and rabbits. But that is a WHOLE LOT to clean up after and we already got to clean a lot of it up when we bought the place so we're hoping to find a small piece of land with some fruit trees where we can also have a few farm animals. :) Hope you come back often ;) Tiffany

The site funepets.com looks really cool but you should at least have a banner or a few additional links to the main site since the blog is really just a one page ad for the site.
