These stories have been transcribed from the original diaries by myself, a much travelled , slightly baggy and well worn mother of three bilingual children all of whom amaze and delight me on a daily basis. As well as being the custodian of the Loufoque archives I am the keeper of a small flock of chickens a fish pond full of traumatized goldfish and so many cats I have has lost count. I am a potter, sculptor and frenetic craftsperson who loves life and was born with sand in her shoes! Currently living in Brittany. Dyslexic in two languages and proud of it! I am also married to a French patissier and we live together with our menagerie in the old Loufoque family home, but there the similarity with Madame Loufoque ends.

Good point about the water in my blog of insightsofnostalgia. We forget how lucky we are here in Scotland and sometimes take things for granted.

Attention human. This is a customary greeting designed to foster the illusion of social interaction and good will. Let us embark upon digital "socializing" via this primitive form of the Internet. (Insert ridiculous emoticon of a human “smiley” face.) ☺
