I don’t exactly think of myself as a morning person, but you give me a good cup of black coffee and slowly the caffeine kicks in enough that I can pull my thoughts together. Just as the sun is casting its’ first rays of warmth on the floor where my cold morning toes are perched, I finally warm up to the idea of talking to you. Sometimes I talk about myself, discovering the joys in life, and bemoaning a few of the sorrows. While taking another sip of my Folgers, I’ll pick up the newspaper or an inspirational book, and discuss a few of the issues that catch my attention. Once in awhile, I may not feel up to talking, so I’ll thrust a thought for the day, poem, or short story your way. Feel free to join me for coffee often, and bring a few stories of your own!
