Yes, it’s once again time to remind you that The Wrong Stuff, my debut novel, is available on Amazon, just the thing for the bibliophile in your life this Christmas.
The good reviews keep on coming…
…and now the Kindle edition has arrived, which you can purchase HERE on Amazon.com and if you’re more local, you can get it HERE at Amazon UK.
I apologise for being absent from a lot of your blogs in the last week or so, but I’ve been trying to find more ways of promoting the book and it has robbed me of the time I usually spend visiting you. But hopefully I should have time over the weekend to catch up with some of the hundreds of e-mail notifications that are clogging up my inbox and come over to see what you’re up to.
I really didn’t appreciate, when I accidentally wrote a book, how much extra work comes after the easy bit, (the making stuff up and writing it down bit) so it has left me rather short of free time to write anything, let alone read anything.
However, having said that, (and bearing in mind that I’m a sucker for collaborative projects) I have joined an online friend, blogger, writer and all round humorous vulgarian called, funnily enough, Frank and a couple of his equally entertaining mates, in a new venture on a new platform.
I believe the plan is that we amass a sufficiently eclectic range of posts, before we start sharing our new site with the wider world, so this is purely a teaser to let you know that something is coming.
Also, I will be appearing on our local radio station’s book club feature on Monday to further promote The Wrong Stuff and I shall try to obtain a recording of that momentous event, to share with you at a later date.
In the meantime, here’s the novel blurb, for those of you who have somehow missed it so far:
“Hannah Meredith has always had a good eye and she’s a veteran bargain hunter, but she isn’t prepared, when she buys the box marked “Stuff” at a mysterious auction, for her world to suddenly unravel into a series of increasingly bizarre and terrifying events.
Soon on the run from a sinister cabal of vengeful corporate villains and their homicidal henchmen, Hannah must foil an evil plan to bring the world to the brink of global economic collapse, all the while keeping one step ahead of her pursuers.
A fast-moving thriller with a sci-fi twist, the plot stretches from chases through grimy backstreets of Victorian London back to the present day, where sudden violence shatters the tranquility of the English countryside.
Following Hannah and her unlikely allies in their frantic attempt to stay alive and save the world from disaster, The Wrong Stuff is exciting and original, with more than a touch of black humour.”
Now I’ve got to go and see if K’lee has left me a Cosmic Photo prompt yet, I’ll catch you later.
