Matthew 6:9 says, “Our Father in heaven…” (NIV) In the King James Version, Jesus says, “Our Father which art in Heaven…” In the New American Standard Version, Jesus says, “Our Father who is in Heaven…”
I like that the best, “Our Father who is in Heaven…”
That is the reality today, “Our Father … is …”
Our God who is a Father Aka a Daddy is! Not God was. Not God will be. Not God could be. Not God should be and not God might be, but God is. Our God, who is a Father and a Daddy, is more than just a figment of our imagination! Our God, who is a Father and a Daddy, is the God of the present tense.
Our God, who is a Father Aka a Daddy, is a right now God. BE ENCOURAGED TODAY!
There is no doubt in my mind that many of you prayed expectantly over the past month asking God to help you live through the holidays, but why stop praying that way now that Christmas has come and gone.
In Mark 9:23, Jesus says, “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Luke 1:37 tells us that, “Nothing is impossible with (God).” Psalm 34:15 says, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.” Oh, church! If those verses are true and we know that they are, let us pray expectantly in 2017! I believe in the power of prayer! How about you? We ought to believe in the power of prayer because we serve a God who is!
I believe it! I believe it! I believe it!
