This prayer is an adaptation of the 15th prayer in the excellent book called  Prayers that Prevail for Your Children: A Parent's & Grandparent's Manual of Prayers that I have used over the years to pray God's promises for my children and grandchildren.  You can find a list of the other prayers in this book on my post HERE.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  (John 3:17-18)

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the freedom that you offer to your people everywhere.  Those you make free are free indeed!(John 8:36)  Please allow my son/daughter/children to refuse to be condemned in any way in his/her/their life/lives, and to recognize that condemnation DOES NOT come from you! (Romans 8:1)

When my child/children commit(s) a wrongful act, please be there to urge him/her/them to respond to the Holy Spirit by confessing the sin to you, deeply understanding that you can and will forgive, and that you will cleanse him/her/them from ALL unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Following the confession, I pray that _________________________ will choose to have you lead in desire to walk in freedom, and that he/she/they will avoid all snares, entanglements, yokes, or bondages from this time onward. (Galatians 5:1)

(John 8:36) Those you make free are free indeed, Lord!  Please give my child(ren) a constant consciousness of this possibility and let him/her/them see that the TRUTH will release him/her/them from condemnation, and actually, from fretting over every problem that arises. (John 8:32)

Show __________________________, dear Father-God, that the blood of Jesus Christ, your Son, cleanses him/her/them from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:7).  Reveal to my son/daughter/children that through faith in your Son and in the Word,  he/she/they is equipped to walk in newness of life (Roman's 6:4) and from this time forward is freed of having to revisit that feeling of condemnation, ever again.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit I reject the lies and accusations that Satan attempts to use to make my son/daughter/children feel the constant sting of hopelessness, unworthiness and condemnation.  (John 8:44)  Father-God, rebuke the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10) who seeks to crush all the joy and faith from the life of my child/children. (1 Peter 5:8).

Please always keep my child/children secure in your your safe refuge (Psalms 91:2).

Teach __________________________ how to resist the Adversary in faith, with a consciousness of how doing this nullifies all of the Evil One's lies and condemnations, and that he will flee from him/her/them. (James 4:7)

I rejoice Lord in the recognition that neither my child(children), nor I, will come under the condemnation of the devil any longer (John 5:24) since we have received the rich and provident promises of Your Word. (2 Peter 1:4)

In Jesus Name, I pray and praise You!  Amen.
