Today’s post is all about simple; well that is all but the taste of the dish. This taco tater tot casserole is all about taking simple ingredients and turning them into something totally delicious.

Taco Tater Tot Casserole

The ground beef is browned and seasoned with a package of taco seasoning or if you make your own taco seasoning you can use that instead. After the ground beef is browned and seasoning is added, you add the black beans, green chilis, sour cream, and cheddar cheese and mix it all together.

Put this in a baking dish and then top it with tater tots. You bake this in an oven at 400 degrees F for about 30 to 40 minutes and then add more cheddar cheese and bake for about another 5 minutes so the cheese over top gets all melted and gooey.

The taco tater tot casserole is one that you will have a hard time to stop eating. It makes a large pan and you know that it is just as good the second time around. So don’t worry if you have leftovers.
