Campsites are a special place. It’s a home-away-from home; a place for creativity, personalization and discovery. No matter what season, a campsite is comprised of two parts: what is already present in nature and what you bring to the situation.

Everyone sets up camp a little differently. Do you bring chairs, hammocks, or perhaps your sleeping pad to kick back and relax? Is your favorite campsite in the mountains, valleys, near lakes, rivers or perhaps on the beach? Is the focal point around a campfire, or maybe it’s your camp kitchen?

Last week we challenged our community to bring out all the stops and show us the best of the best. From the comforts of car camping to the most remote backcountry hilltops, the results of the project have been inspiring and beautiful. Thanks to everyone who participated.
